Nanette Penz-Reuter joined Medwise
in 2005, as Vice - President.
She has over 15 years of Underwriting
Management experience with a proven

Tom
Okonek
Tom has over 25 years of progressive
experience in managed care, healthcare
delivery and the medical practice
management systems industries.
His background includes a combination
of executive, management and hands-on
roles in a variety of areas encompassing
Fortune 100 to VC start –ups to
non profit organizations. Tom
spent 14 years with a major National
health insurance company in several
executive and management positions
including Claim Services and Operations,
Provider Contracting/Network Services,
Systems Development and several
strategic project roles. During
his tenure there, Tom was the
key business owner and/or leader
on many major business/system
projects involving auto adjudication,
strategic application enhancements,
provider contracting, consolidations,
outsourcing and M & A integration.
Shirley
Miranda
Shirley is a healthcare management
professional with a diverse background
in the managed care industry.
Her areas of expertise include
financial analysis, strategic
decision support and complex data
analyses to support actuarial
and underwriting decision making.
